Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is a technique used to assess and treat damaged or fatigued soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

By assessing Range of Motion (ROM), gait and posture we can gain a better understanding of how your body is moving, locate restrictions and plan a targeted treatment.
Various massage techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point, effleurage, assisted stretching etc are adopted to stimulate blood flow, relieve pain and support the body's natural healing process.

Myofascial Cupping
Cupping involves the use of suction and negative pressure through various cup sizes carefully placed on muscles that may be undergoing tension. Passive or active movement may also be included to increase blood flow and facilitate the soft tissue healing process. Cups may also be used to glide across soft tissue, releasing any adhesions. Relief of muscular tension is often felt instantaneously on release of the cups.
Cupping can leave marks or varying degrees on individuals but will dissipate within 7-14 days.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM)
Specialised instruments are used in IASTM to breakdown scar tissue, adhesions and fascial restrictions. This technique stimulates connective tissue remodeling.

Benefits of IASTM include increasing collagen production, reducing inflammation improving mobility, alleviating chronic pain conditions and restoring proper function.

IASTM is a versatile and effective treatment for a variety of different conditions.
